Self-made success is the new craze. Yes, it's important to gain success based on your own merit but is there really such a thing as self-made? Think about it, was there anyone that went the extra mile to assist you by giving advice, making recommendations or lending a helping hand? An important part of self-made success is one's ability to work well with others. I can hear my mom say "No man is an island", it is important to cultivate a community of people who are willing to support you. And of course, the laws of reciprocity suggest that you must also provide support to others.
There are so many people who contributed in different ways to my career development. I'd like to highlight a few.
